Cooling systems are put to the test during the long, hot and humid summer. Without regular air conditioning maintenance, the wear and tear of constant use takes a toll on the equipment. Faulty parts force your air conditioner to run for longer and longer periods, driving up operating costs. Optimizing the entire system with a tune-up offers a number of valuable benefits:
- Save money on your energy bills throughout the summer season.
- Enjoy the cooling comfort of improved capacity and better humidity control.
- Safeguard your property from damage caused by malfunctioning parts.
- Protect your wallet from the cost of unexpected repairs and breakdowns.
Air conditioning maintenance saves you in the long run too. Well-maintained systems last significantly longer than neglected ones, saving you from the cost of an early replacement
Many important elements are taken into consideration when evaluating air flow in a building. Problem areas with issues such as air leakage and unbalanced ventilation are examined, as well as pressure differentials and containment pathways. In an air flow analysis, the quantity and quality of air flow is tested and recommendations are made regarding possible issues and better filtration of air. Cost-effective conservation opportunities for heating and/or cooling technology can assist building owners not just in improved air quality, but also in long-term savings.
Too hot in the summer, too cold in the winter. Without a central duct system, you’ll rely on space heaters and window air conditioners—neither of which do the job. When the time comes to install an HVAC system with ductwork, bring out the experts of ATLAIR HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING.
Coils are found in refrigeration equipment including those used in supermarkets and restaurants. It is not uncommon to find hundreds of “through-the-wall” fan coil units in a hotel, dormitory or apartment building. As the air moving over the coils contains dust, dirt, pollen, moisture and other contaminants, the coils get dirty and become less efficient. In addition, the evaporator coil and its condensate pan can become fouled with pollen, mold spores and other biocontaminants that can have adverse effects on indoor air quality. If not maintained, the moisture around the evaporator coil can become a breeding ground for bacteria and mold.
